The card is a Mastercard Bank of Jerusalem prepaid card. The card is loaded in shekels and protected by an electronic chip and PIN code. The card is honored globally and can be used to make purchases at businesses or on websites that honor Mastercard. You can also use to card to withdraw cash at any ATM in Israel or worldwide that honors Mastercard.
The card is international and can be used to purchase goods and services at any physical or online business that honors Mastercard in Israel and globally.
After joining MONOX’s digital services, you can check the card’s balance and view the transaction history on the website, at monox.co.il or on the MONOX application.
There may be cases when you’ll want to buy a product that costs more than your balance on the card. You can only do this if the business lets you split the payment with another method of payment.
Transactions with the card entail fees. If it was not possible to charge the fees last month because of insufficient funds in the account, the fees will be postponed to the following month and deducted as soon as the new balance is loaded.
If the card is lost or stolen, you need to make an immediate request to block the card. You can block the card in several ways: - On the MONOX application and website - On the website easyway.bankjerusalem.co.il - At the Bank of Jerusalem customer service call center, at 076-809-5185
As part of your registration to MONOX we sign you up to Rewire and GMT or another money wiring company. You can select your preferred money transfer option through them.
The card is international and can be used abroad up to the prepaid balance, similar to a credit card, including withdrawing cash from any ATM that honors Mastercard.
When using the card to conduct a transaction / withdrawal, a request is sent to approve the transaction / withdrawal. As long as there are sufficient funds to cover the transaction / withdrawal, the transaction / withdrawal will be approved and the amount will be deducted right away from the card balance.
